Reviews and Ratings
Staying at the Best Western on the River was a delightful experience overall. The rooms were very nice and extremely clean, offering plenty of seating options for breakfast and emanating a pleasant smell. The location couldn't be better, right in the heart of Hannibal attractions and within walking distance to many key spots. While the dining experience fell short with limited and unappetizing options, the facilities were satisfactory.
The hotel has a prime location for Mark Twain interests, offering clean and comfortable rooms with a great river view. The friendly and helpful service adds to the wonderful stay, although the dining options may not meet expectations. The facilities are well-maintained, making it a convenient base for exploring Hannibal.
Staying at the hotel was a mixed experience for me. The rooms were super spacious and had a great view over the swimming pool, which was nice. The service had an authentic old river town feel to it, and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, even with a tricky situation. However, the location, although fantastic for exploring the historic town and enjoying the events nearby, was too close to very busy train tracks. The dining experience left a lot to be desired with limited and unappetizing options.
